Houston Duct Pros is a referral service. It puts homeowners and property managers in the greater Houston metro in touch with independent air duct and dryer vent cleaning contractors. The site itself performs no cleaning, holds no air conditioning contractor license, and does not offer to perform any work. Any cleaning is carried out by the contractor under their own name, and any work inside the sealed part of an HVAC system is carried out by a Texas-licensed air conditioning contractor under their own license.
The price ranges, estimator and descriptions on this site are published for orientation. They are drawn from what contractors in this market and the national cost guides publish, and they are not a quote. The contractor who takes your inquiry quotes the actual price, in writing, and that written scope is the agreement between you and them. Regulatory descriptions, including the summary of Texas rule 16 TAC §75.100, are offered as a homeowner’s reading of public rules, not as legal advice.
By sending the form or calling the number you agree to be contacted about what you described, as set out on the privacy page, and you agree that the contractor who follows up is an independent business responsible for their own work, licensing, insurance and warranty.
The site makes the introduction and publishes the checklist. It does not supervise the work and is not a party to the contract for it. To the extent the law allows, the site accepts no liability for work performed or not performed by a contractor it referred, and its responsibility ends at passing your inquiry to one contractor covering your zone. If a job does not match the checklist, the site wants to hear about it, but the remedy is with the contractor.
