Two things come in through this site: what you type into the form on the contact page, and what a phone call to the number on every page leaves behind. This page describes both, in the order they happen.
The contact form asks for a name, a phone number, an email address, a service address, an optional zone of the metro, the kind of job and a description. It also records the page you sent it from and your browser’s time zone, which help sort inquiries by area. All of it is used for one purpose: to pass your inquiry to the one independent contractor covering your zone so they can call, text or email you about what you described. A confirmation goes to the email address you gave.
Calls to the number on this site go to a voicemail line. A recording of your message and the number you called from are kept so the inquiry can be returned and passed along the same way a form is. Calling the number is your consent to that.
To the contractor who takes the job, and nowhere else. Nothing you send is sold, rented or traded, and it is not added to any marketing list. The contractor receives it for the purpose of quoting and performing the work you asked about, under their own business name.
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read, which sets cookies in your browser. That data is aggregate and is not linked to anything you send through the form. A browser set to block third-party cookies stops it without affecting the site.
Form submissions and call records are kept for as long as they are useful for following up on the inquiry, then deleted. If you would like what you sent removed sooner, send a note through the contact form saying so and naming the address you used, and it will be handled.
